Our Heating and Plumbing Engineer

You’ll install, service, and maintain a variety of systems, from boilers to underfloor heating, radiators to drainage networks. Working across planned maintenance and emergency response, you’ll be the go‑to expert for heating and plumbing issues across the estate. Your remit will include high‑end domestic spaces, guest areas, and technical plant rooms – so precision, professionalism, and pride in your craft are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance of all heating and plumbing systems
  • Respond promptly to urgent breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Install, repair, and service heating systems, radiators, underfloor heating, valves, boilers, and domestic hot water systems
  • Oversee subcontractors installing new equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a broad range of system faults
  • Support infrastructure including water treatment, pumps, and estate‑wide drainage
  • Perform chemical flushing and treatment of systems when required
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records via our CMMS system
  • Provide general engineering support for estate‑wide operations

What we are looking for
  • Gas Safe registered with solid experience in heating and plumbing systems
  • Confident diagnosing and solving issues across domestic and commercial setups
  • Background in high‑end, heritage, or hospitality environments (ideal but not essential)
  • Able to work independently, including sourcing parts and managing emergencies
  • Polite, professional, and presentable, with a team‑focused attitude
  • Flexible with working hours, including occasional call‑outs
  • Physically capable – working in confined spaces and lifting equipment when needed
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating and G3 certification required
