* Job Overview
* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting Tipper Wagons, 8 Wheelers & Artics. Class 1 Preferred as some driving will be expected Mond
Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 8am till 6pm & Saturdays 8am till 12 noon
* Responsibilities
* * Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
* Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems promptly to minimise downtime.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety standards are adhered to during all operations.
* Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as required.
* Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
* Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
* Skills
* * Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are desirable but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
