Senior Cost Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization, who is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This is a high-impact role focused on standard costing, inventory valuation, ERP implementation, and partnering with operations to improve costing accuracy and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update standard costs, inventory valuation, and overhead rates
• Partner with operations and engineering to ensure accurate product costing
• Support ERP implementation, data validation, and process improvements
• Perform cost analysis, inventory reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide insights to improve profitability
• Develop and enhance cost accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory, and GAAP
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with integrated ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
