Job ObjectiveOperate Non-woven equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure preparation, start-up operation and the manufacture of quality products that meet or exceeds our customers' expectations.
Essential Job FunctionsIncludes but not limited to:
Function independently in an unsupervised environment accepting responsibility for product quality, safety, productivity, and process compliance.
Ensure that all department activities are conducted safely, and all safety concerns are addressed immediately.
Operate FNL line in accordance with all SOPs, control plans, safety, and environmental procedures.
Monitor and approve the quality of work in process, semi‑finished and finished products.
Complete all necessary production reports and computer entries.
- Move chemicals and or waste within the facility.
- Maintain the chemical storage area(s) and/or waste storage area(s) in a clean and orderly manner.
- Packages, labels, and prepares wastes for storage and transportation as requested.
- Inspects the facility and equipment regularly, notifies appropriate personnel of any incidents or occurrences that may trigger implementation of the Contingency Plan.
- May perform additional emergency response activities, including assisting in stopping or containing a release, as directed by the emergency coordinator.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written correspondence. High School/GED Ability to self‑pace learning including book work, web‑base and classroom participation.
