Job Summary Responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts payable functions within the organization through leading a team of accounts payable specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, adhering to payment terms, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Essential Functions-Supervise and provide leadership to the accounts payable team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring performance.

-Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

-Review and approve high-value or complex invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues before payment processing.

-Monitor and enforce compliance with payment terms and discount opportunities, maximizing cost savings for the organization.

-Maintain strong vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.

-Develop and implement accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

-Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions, vendor records, and payment processes to identify and mitigate potential risks or errors.

Qualifications Education Associate 's Degree in a related field of study required

Bachelor's Degree in finance or a related field of study preferred

Experience3+ years of accounts payable experience required1+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment methods, vendor management, and related controls.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as relevant tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to accounts payable.

Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a team, promote collaboration, and drive performance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and management.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

Full time, Monday - Friday eastern standard business hours

Hybrid, onsite required 4x/month
