Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Pay Rate: $30–35/hour
Contract Length: 2 years (Potential for permanent conversion)
Our client is a cybersecurity technology company specializing in threat intelligence and risk solutions. They are looking for an organized Operations Coordinator to help keep the day-to-day operational processes supporting the Engineering & Product organization running smoothly.
AboutThe Role
The Operations Coordinator will support the Engineering & Product organization by coordinating purchase orders, tracking budgets, supporting vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate records and systems. This role will work closely with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Product, and senior stakeholders, making strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through essential. The ideal candidate is someone who can manage multiple priorities, learn new systems quickly, and take ownership of keeping processes moving.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate purchase orders and related requests from submission through completion
- Maintain accurate tracking of departmental and project budgets
- Support vendor management, including renewals and related documentation
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Product, and other internal teams
- Maintain spreadsheets, records, tracking systems, and standard operating procedures
- Organize and analyze information in Excel and prepare clear, professional reports and presentations
- Help identify administrative bottlenecks and keep operational processes moving efficiently
- Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Support senior stakeholders with operational information, reporting, and administrative needs
- Learn and work within internal business systems and processes
- Experience (1–4 years) in an administrative, operations, coordination, or similar role
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and data
- Experience using a business system or platform such as a CRM, CMS, ERP, or similar system
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Reliable follow-through and a strong sense of ownership
- Purchase order, procurement, or financial operations experience
- Budget tracking or reporting experience
- Experience working in a technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity environment
- Experience managing vendors or tracking renewals
- Experience creating presentations or executive-facing materials
Finance or procurement experience is not required. This opportunity can be a strong fit for an experienced administrative or operations coordinator who is highly organized, comfortable with Excel, and capable of quickly learning new systems and processes. Recent graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
