Role Summary

The Design Coordinator will assist the Creative and Design teams in all aspects of project execution, with a strong focus on Vectorworks drafting and design support
. This role involves coordinating with the Creative team to ensure designs are accurate, organized, and delivered on schedule. The position is integral to maintaining workflow efficiency and supporting the successful execution of creative projects.

Responsibilities

Design & Creative Support:

  • Assist designers with drafting, layouts, and revisions using Vectorworks
    .
  • Prepare renderings, floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings as directed.
  • Maintain design files, templates, and asset libraries with strong organization.
  • Support the development of creative presentations and client-facing materials.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Creative teams to ensure design requirements align with project scope and budgets.
  • Track design milestones, revisions, and deadlines.
  • Attend internal meetings to capture notes and communicate updates across teams.

Documentation & Production Support:

  • Prepare production-ready drawings and documentation packages.
  • Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to ensure design intent is executed correctly.
  • Assist with revisions based on client feedback or field changes.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain project documentation and ensure files remain current and accessible.
  • Support internal reporting, organization, and workflow processes within the Creative Department.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a design, drafting, or coordination role.
  • Experience in experiential, exhibit, event, or architectural environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, or rendering tools is a plus.
