Architectural Designer

Safdie Architects is seeking architectural designers (0-5 years' experience) with exceptional design, communication, and interpersonal skills to join our design practice.

The position requires experience in the production of concept, schematic and design development documents for large scale, programmatically complex public and private projects. The architectural designer will be involved on a project from concept through completion, working directly with the firm's Partners to develop and execute the design.

In addition to an aptitude for design and problem solving, candidates must be highly motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Safdie Architects relies heavily on the building of physical models, the use of advanced digital design software and techniques, rapid-prototyping, etc.

• Expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite and rendering software (Enscape, Lumion, VRay)
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of REVIT and experience with BIM preferred
• All applicants must have the authorization to work within the United States

Aside from involvement on the architectural projects - architectural designers will have the opportunity to work on research driven efforts and assist with publications and exhibitions.
