The summer program has a variety of programs to meet the diverse needs of special education students. Flexible, collaborative, adaptive, team players should apply!
Specialized Trainings Preferred- Specialized Intensive Program medically fragile/severe special needs (S.K.I.P.)
- Life Skills; self-contained; certified Special Needs. to work in conjunction with the Somerville Recreation Department (students with severe cognitive disabilities)-CPI trained. (1-7), (8-Transition)
- K-6 self-contained, social/emotional/therapeutic - CPI trained
- Autism - CPI trained
- Special Education Kindergarten
- Pre-school - CPI trained
- Academic Special Educators to Teacher Math, Writing and Reading
- Students with ASD
- Students with multiple disabilities
- Students with emotional impairments
- Students with cognitive impairments
- Students with multiple disabilities
Seasonal/Yearly Employment
July 6th, 2026 – July 31, 2026
Hourly Rate: $30 per hour worked
Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
7:45am-1:30pm
Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: TBD
