Program Specialist

The Somerville Parks & Recreation Program Specialist will facilitate a variety of recreational programs across Sports, Arts, Music, Academics, and Steam programming, relying on expertise in these fields.

• Plan, conduct, and assess recreational programs for community members.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality activities.

• Prior knowledge and experience working in Sports, Arts, Music, Academics, or Steam programming.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screening and comply with all pre‑employment requirements.
• MA Criminal Offender Record Information clearance and completion of Conflict‑of‑Interest Law Education training for municipal employees.

Part‑time/Seasonal, up to 19 hours a week. Salary: $25.00 per hour.
