Fayette County Airport - Aeronautics Economic Development Fund Hangar

The project is for the construction of a 2-bay hangar with a shell space for a future office attached to the south side. The hangar bays include large diameter fans, LED lighting and bifold doors. The site work will include the construction of an asphalt apron expansion with a trench drain, ADA concrete parking, and a gravel entrance drive.

A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. local time, on March 3, 2026 at the Fayette County Airport, 1075 Airport Road, Somerville, TN 38068, for the purpose of discussing the scope of the project and answering any questions. Attendance at this conference by an appropriate bidder representative is mandatory to be eligible to submit a bid.

Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on March 17, 2026 by Fayette County and the Fayette County Airport. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to:

Proposals shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the Airport Terminal.
