Electrical Engineering Internship: Commonwealth Fusion Systems

Commonwealth Fusion Systems, a private fusion energy company, is offering an Electrical Engineer Internship based in Devens and Somerville, Massachusetts (USA).

This 12–16 week, full-time program (40–50 hrs/week) provides hands‑on experience in areas such as mechanical installation, component testing, and vendor engagement. Interns will gain exposure to cutting‑edge fusion energy technology while contributing directly to CFS’s mission of delivering commercially viable fusion power.

• Students pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Candidates with hands‑on experience from research, project teams, hackathons, or prior internships
• Motivated problem‑solvers with strong troubleshooting skills
• $23–$29/hr (BS level), $32–$35/hr (MS/PhD level)
