As we expand our R&D operations in the US, we’re seeking talented engineers to drive our manufacturing technology and the development of application-specific products for cooling devices.
Role Overview :In this role, you will lead the development of advanced materials and components using our proprietary gel-enabled metal manufacturing technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address complex technical challenges and scale up our innovative solutions from R&D to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Advance the pyrometallurgy, material science, and polymer-to-metal conversion chemistry, and lead in designing and developing advanced materials and components
- Identify technical challenges from first-principles approach and develop hypothesis-driven solutions
- Collaborate with external partners and establish strategic alliances
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in advanced materials, manufacturing, thermal engineering, and data centers.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven experience leading R&D teams in materials science, chemical engineering, or related fields
- Drive technology development in environments with high uncertainty and ambitious timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a first-principles approach
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry, Process Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Instinctual compulsion to test your ideas at the bench
- Experience with analytical equipment related to inorganic compounds or materials and high temperature equipment or reactors
- Proficiency in standard PC tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience or strong interest in thermal management systems, including heatsink or cold plate design (theory, simulation, experimentation)
- Expertise or strong interest in fluid dynamics simulation, particularly in thermal or catalytic systems
