Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization by completing various accounting tasks, supporting the finance team, and assisting in financial analysis.
Essential Functions- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process and record accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
- Assist in conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost allocation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, record acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Perform account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, FASB).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
