About the Role

As a Member Experience Specialist I (Universal Banker), you’ll be one of the first people members turn to for friendly, accurate, and helpful service. You’ll handle everyday transactions, answer questions, assist with basic account needs, and help members find products and services that fit their financial goals. This is a great opportunity to build your financial services knowledge while making a positive impact on the member experience every day.

What

You'll Do
  • Welcome members and provide friendly, efficient service throughout each interaction.
  • Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Answer member questions and provide assistance with basic account needs and services.
  • Complete account maintenance, including address changes, debit card assistance, disputes, and stop payments.
  • Open share accounts and provide dual-control support as needed.
  • Have needs-based conversations to identify and recommend products and services that benefit members.
  • Balance your cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Follow established security, compliance, fraud-prevention, and operational procedures.
  • Build knowledge of Credit Union products, systems, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 1 year of branch, retail financial services, cashier, or related customer service experience.
  • Previous teller experience strongly preferred.
  • Credit union experience strongly preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial literacy and comfort handling financial transactions.
  • Notary Public certification is a plus.
  • A genuine commitment to providing welcoming, member-focused service.
