Job Summary
Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study.
Essential Functions- Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies that all sponsor requirements are met.
- Recruiting patients for clinical trials and conducting phone interviews.
- Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
- Prepares data for analysis and data entry.
- Documents patient visits and procedures.
- Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC Procedures.
- Assists with interviewing study subjects.
- Assists with study regulator submissions.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

- Experience Some relevant research project work

Role Specific Requirements Scan Acquisition (~60%)
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure participant well-being during image acquisition portions of study visits.
- Ensure image acquisition quality standards are maintained across the imaging and assisting CRC groups.
- Ensure all scanner protocols are correctly followed during image acquisition.
- Perform frontline image quality checks and quality control.
- Processing, QC and basic analysis of structural MRI data with Free Surfer.
- Supervising scripts and compute cluster submissions for ancillary processing pipelines.
- Post visit meta-data entry.
- Pipeline error checking and debugging.
- Manual edits and reprocessing of image data.
- Supervise the automated processing of PET data.
- Basic QC of PET data and PET data prosessing outcomes.
- Extraction and input of neuroimaging metrics to a centralized database.
- Ensure completion of all processing steps and completeness of data repositories.
- Collaborate with imaging specialists to rectify quality and processing issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts/abstracts.
- Contribute to the documentation of processing scripts and pipelines.
- Assist in the training and oversight of new study staff.
- Assist in the evaluation of new harmonization methods for imaging data.
- Assist in the generation and update of standard operating procedures.
- Assisting with administrative tasks.
