Pay:Starting salary of $70,000 for recent grads!

We are seeking a Clinicianwho is passionate about providing a hand up to veterans and their families in times of need.
As Clinician
you’ll have a dynamic and critical role at our Mass Bay Veterans Center, a community where veterans have the time and resources to take care of themselves, create relationships with one another, and get the support they need to rebuild their independence. As a Clinician you will provide co-occurring treatment services for veterans through individual and group counseling and create treatment plans that provide the level of support needed by each individual
- Facilitate a therapeutic and supportive environment for veteran residents to provide in-the-moment clinical intervention
- Work with residents to develop individualized action plans focused on mental health, substance use and co-occurring symptoms with a whole-person health approach
- Deliver individualized sessions for up to 8 residents, and group sessions for up to 16 residents weekly
- Attend weekly individual clinical supervision, group clinical supervision and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with client’s collateral contacts, the integrated team, and/or any providers working with the residents
- Must have a 60 credit Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with a focus in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field. Master’s program must have included an internship.
- Licensed candidates (LMHC, LICSW, and LADCI) must hold an active license in MA
- Unlicensed candidates must be eligible for licensure by timeline set for each licensure track
- Experience in the evaluation, treatment, and care planning of individuals with mental health, substance use, dual diagnosis, and co-occurring disorders.
- Computer proficiency is preferred in electronic health records, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
The following experience is preferred for the Mental Health Clinician:
- Specialty in treating veteran counseling.
- Experience providing treatment of substance use disorders including, but not limited to: CBT, motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or other person-centered approaches.
- Knowledge of milieu therapy in residential settings; substance use modalities, harm reduction approaches, trauma informed care, whole person health approaches, dual diagnosis, and commitment to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable.
