  • Lead neurodivergent teens/adults in planning outings, taking public transportation, budget management, and safety in the community
  • Support participants' social competency, self-awareness, and stress management during trips and outings throughout Boston
  • Maintain the health and safety of program participants and staff
  • Complete evaluation forms, incident reports, end-of-program reports, and other assigned paperwork
  • Maintain records and documentation required by the Policies and Procedures manual
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA expectations
  • Collaborate with Aspire leadership staff to problem-solve social interaction, behavioral, and programmatic issues
  • Facilitate participation during community outings and structured program activities
  • Support conversations, small talk, paying/budgeting, daily notes, and space setup/cleanup
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred
  • Commitment to lead the group(s) for all sessions during the semester
  • Ability to support teens/adults during community outings and structured program activities
  • Ability to implement interventions, supports, and strategies for program participants
  • Ability to support conversations/small talk, monitoring, safety, paying/budgeting, daily notes, and setup/cleanup
  • Ability to independently manage a small group of 3-4 teens in the community when required
  • Ability to lead planning outings, public transportation, budget management, and community safety
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA expectations
  • Ability to complete evaluation forms, incident reports, end-of-program reports, and other assigned paperwork
  • Ability to lift and carry 20-35 pounds occasionally
