- Lead neurodivergent teens/adults in planning outings, taking public transportation, budget management, and safety in the community
- Support participants' social competency, self-awareness, and stress management during trips and outings throughout Boston
- Maintain the health and safety of program participants and staff
- Complete evaluation forms, incident reports, end-of-program reports, and other assigned paperwork
- Maintain records and documentation required by the Policies and Procedures manual
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA expectations
- Collaborate with Aspire leadership staff to problem-solve social interaction, behavioral, and programmatic issues
- Facilitate participation during community outings and structured program activities
- Support conversations, small talk, paying/budgeting, daily notes, and space setup/cleanup
- Prior experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred
- Commitment to lead the group(s) for all sessions during the semester
- Ability to support teens/adults during community outings and structured program activities
- Ability to implement interventions, supports, and strategies for program participants
- Ability to support conversations/small talk, monitoring, safety, paying/budgeting, daily notes, and setup/cleanup
- Ability to independently manage a small group of 3-4 teens in the community when required
- Ability to lead planning outings, public transportation, budget management, and community safety
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA expectations
- Ability to complete evaluation forms, incident reports, end-of-program reports, and other assigned paperwork
- Ability to lift and carry 20-35 pounds occasionally
Demonstrates expertise in supporting neurodivergent individuals through community engagement, emphasizing safety, social competency, and effective communication. Proficient in managing group dynamics and maintaining compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
