  • Establish, administer, and direct the Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
  • Direct day-to-day clinical operations, schedule staff coverage, lead daily organizational and individual action planning meetings
  • Evaluate client status and coordinate responses to changing needs
  • Direct and coordinate client admissions, assessments, treatment plans, rehabilitation, and support services with the psychiatrist
  • Assign staff to individual treatment teams and supervise comprehensive assessments and individual action plans
  • Coordinate client-centered assessments covering psychiatric, physical and dental health, substance use, education, employment, daily living, and family relationships
  • Manage staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, assignments, orientation, and performance supervision
  • Develop and implement PACT-specific staff orientation
  • Assist with program budgets and manage rental subsidy and contingency budget lines
  • Supervise client records management and ensure compliance with agency and payment requirements
  • Train staff on documentation and review client assessments, action plans, and service notes
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Manage adverse events and corrective actions
  • Ensure program quality and achievement of goals and objectives; manage quality improvement
  • Provide 24-hour on-call backup and on-site support and intervention when necessary
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement, emergency providers, human service agencies, landlords, employers, and community resources
  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide direct clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and support services when indicated
  • Maintain and enhance staff knowledge of human services issues, trends, and techniques
  • Ensure maintenance and safety of the physical site
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social sciences, rehabilitation, mental health counseling, social work, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology required
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-Master's experience working in social service and/or mental health settings providing rehabilitation, counseling, therapy, and/or guidance to people with serious psychiatric disabilities and their families
  • Valid license in Massachusetts required
  • Knowledge of human services relative to current assignment
  • Knowledge of operations management procedures and practices
  • Sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues
  • Knowledge and use of advocacy techniques
  • Knowledge of organizational, strategic, participatory, and collaborative skills
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Current, valid US driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Must be able to complete CPR, First Aid, and other assigned training within defined timelines
  • Must successfully pass a multistate CORI, reference check, employment verification, education and credentialing background check
  • Knowledge of communication and learning styles
  • Knowledge of human, legal, civil rights, community, and other resources
  • Knowledge of available equipment, therapies, and service providers
  • Knowledge of empowerment and self-advocacy techniques
  • Knowledge of formal and informal assessment practices
  • Knowledge of participatory planning techniques
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
  • Knowledge of decision-making processes
  • Knowledge of strength-based modalities and evidence-based practices
  • Ability to provide leadership and team management to staff
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments and decisions
  • Ability to work professionally and confidentially
  • Knowledge of personal computer applications and equipment
  • Knowledge of financial management practices in human service organizations
  • Knowledge of documentation requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds
  • CPR required within two weeks of hire
  • First Aid required within two weeks of hire
  • PR Crisis Intervention required
  • NET required
