Float Phlebotomist

• Properly identify patients
• Perform and explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes as required
• Conduct blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge specimens
• Store and transport specimen samples according to procedures to maintain specimen integrity
• Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
• Maintain a clean and stocked phlebotomy area
• Reassure patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with clinical staff
• Help create a positive patient experience
• Cover offices in Freehold, Princeton, and Marlton

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX)
• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting – required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook – required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience – required
• Must work Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm
• Home office in Eatontown, NJ, with coverage of offices in Freehold, Princeton, and Marlton

Demonstrates expertise in venipuncture and specimen collection processes while ensuring compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations. Proficient in maintaining a positive patient experience and collaborating effectively with clinical staff.
