This part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position supports pediatric students in a school setting for an 18-week contract in Somerville, MA. The role involves implementing therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, and managing a caseload of about 15 students. Compensation is up to $40 per hour, with a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement therapy plans for pediatric students in a school setting

  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student needs

  • Conduct assessments and document progress

  • Assist students with daily activities and therapies

  • Ensure compliance with school policies and safety protocols

Qualifications:
  • MA COTA License or equivalent certification

  • Valid MA COTA License

  • Minimum 1 year experience as Occupational Therapist Assistant in a school setting

  • Experience working with pediatric populations

  • Experience managing a caseload of around 15 students

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to comply with facility policies

  • Ability to pass background checks and adhere to school district standards

  • Availability to work days shift 8:00 am to 2:45 pm, 3 days per week (~20 hours per week)
