Job SummaryIn this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to HR, Finance, and clinical leadership, leveraging market intelligence and data-driven insights to design, analyze, and optimize provider compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with provider compensation models, productivity-based incentives, regulatory compliance, and market benchmarking within a healthcare environment.
Lead Provider Compensation Strategy & Analysis- Analyze and evaluate provider compensation structures, including base salary, productivity incentives, quality metrics, bonuses, and other financial rewards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain provider compensation models that support organizational growth, physician engagement, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on physician and advanced practice provider compensation trends, market competitiveness, and compensation design.
- Perform comprehensive compensation benchmarking using national and regional healthcare compensation surveys and industry data.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices related to provider compensation.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to leadership based on market intelligence and data analysis.
- Partner in the design, administration, and evaluation of provider benefits offerings, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, paid time off, disability coverage, and other benefit programs.
- Analyze utilization and cost trends to identify opportunities for program enhancements and cost efficiencies.
- Conduct complex analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide meaningful insights to executive and clinical stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of compensation and benefits data across systems and reporting platforms.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and physician leadership to align compensation programs with organizational objectives and budget requirements.
- Consult with leaders on compensation matters related to recruitment, retention, provider productivity, and workforce planning.
- Support compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting provider compensation.
- Assist with compensation reviews and documentation related to healthcare regulatory requirements, including fair market value and commercial reasonableness considerations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a variety of provider compensation arrangements, including:
- Productivity-based compensation plans
- Value-based compensation programs
- Hybrid compensation models
- Evaluate compensation plan effectiveness and recommend enhancements that drive organizational and provider performance.
