Back Purchasing Temp Buyer/Purchasing Somerville , Massachusetts Temp Per Hour Jul 28, 2026 $ 25.00 - $30.00 KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in Somerville, MA that is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team. This is a contract position that will be on-site, and is paying $25-$30/hr depending on experience.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

• Create and process purchase orders, resolve purchasing issues, and support internal teams throughout the procurement process.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, maintain purchasing records and metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and provide administrative support for procurement projects and daily operations.

The experience required for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 2+years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Oracle experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Compensation:$25-$30/hr DOE
