Job Description & How to Apply Below

This role is located in Somerville, MA - We are a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days/per week.

Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines.

Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology.

In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. The world's best manufacturers run on Tulip - turning inventory 10x faster, releasing gene therapies in hours instead of weeks, and training master craftspeople to forge engagement rings 5x more rapidly. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's "Best Places to Work."

We run the way we build: AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership. We're looking for builders who are energized by complex problems, rapid cycles, and the unique opportunity to see their impact on a global scale.

About the Role

You own the canonical narrative for the Tulip platform: the positioning, messaging, and proof points that the rest of the go-to-market engine runs on. Revenue Marketing and the industry marketers adapt that story for their campaigns and segments, and you own the source of truth they adapt from. Tulip is replacing the legacy systems running factory floors around the world, and the way we tell that story has to be as well built as the platform itself.

This is an individual contributor role with real ownership: you set how a capability gets positioned, and you carry it from a rough product idea all the way to how a rep tells the story in a live deal.

About You
  • You think and write with precision. You know the difference between sharp positioning and marketing language that means nothing, and you force specificity in all of your copy..
  • AI is already part of how you work. You've rebuilt real parts of your own workflow around it, and you have a clear view of where it makes the work faster and better and where human judgment stays in charge.
  • You think commercially. You can point to what your messaging changed for Sales: a win rate that moved, a deal your positioning helped close, a play a rep actually used because it was useful.
  • You're genuinely curious about how complex operations work, and you learn hard industries fast. You form a real point of view quickly rather than hedging, and you'll defend it. You can write for a VP of Operations and a sales rep in the same week and know exactly how the message has to shift for each.
What Skills Do I Need?
  • 5-7+ years of product marketing experience, with a track record of shaping how a technical product is positioned, sold, and understood in the market
  • A body of work you can point to: positioning, launches, or enablement you owned, with a clear line to what it changed for adoption, win rates, or how the field sells
  • The ability to turn a complex platform, especially one built around AI and composability, into positioning that lands with operational buyers in terms of the outcomes they care about, not the features they'd have to decode.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency in your current workflow, with a clear perspective on where it accelerates the work and where it is unnecessary or produces content that is not trustworthy.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to hold a point of view under pressure from Product, Sales, and senior stakeholders while still driving alignment
  • Curiosity about complex operational domains and a demonstrated ability to get credible in an unfamiliar industry fast. Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial software, or regulated industries such as life sciences or aerospace and defense is a bonus, not a requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent working experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Tulip's canonical platform and solution narrative across verticals: the positioning, messaging, and proof that the whole go-to-market engine adapts and runs on
  • Turn evolving platform capabilities, especially in AI and composable operations, into positioning grounded in what operational leaders are trying to change on the floor: efficiency, quality, compliance, and speed
  • Run product launches as ongoing narrative moments rather than single-day events, using each one to retell Tulip's story to the market and connect a new capability back to what Tulip stands for
  • Build sales enablement that reps open before a call, and run a feedback loop from the field back into messaging and product so the story keeps sharpening against…
