RN / Registered Nurse – Pediatric Psychiatric Development

Location

Cambridge Health Alliance Somerville Campus – Somerville, MA

Work Details
  • Hours:

    32 hours per week (2 days × 8‑hour shifts)
  • Shift: Day / Evening
  • Work Days: 8‑hour shifts with every other weekend rotation; holidays as assigned
  • Job Type: Part‑time (32 hrs/wk) – D/E (Day/Evening)
  • Union: MNA Somerville
  • Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (pro‑rated for part‑time employees) for newly hired experienced RNs with 2 years of specialty experience
Department

Child and Adolescent Neurodevelopment Inpatient Unit – specialist assessment and care for children and adolescents with severe mental health and neuro‑developmental needs

Qualifications and Experience
  • Current Massachusetts RN license required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers)
  • BSN or ASN degree required
  • 1–2 years of acute inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
  • Newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job‑specific physical test
