The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide patient care in the Allergy Department, focusing on administering allergy shots, verifying patient information, and documenting care in Epic. This is a contract position located in Somerville, Massachusetts, with the potential to support a busy clinical environment requiring strong attention to detail and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient information prior to administering treatments
- Administer allergy shots safely and accurately
- Document patient care in Epic EMR system
- Support Allergy Department operations and patient flow
- Ensure compliance with clinical safety standards and protocols
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience administering allergy shots
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Prior experience in an allergy or immunology department
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- State LPN license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
