Job SummaryResponsible for patient care, collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of healthcare are maintained through skilled nursing expertise, support, and advocacy for patients. We are looking for experienced Oncology RNs to support the BWH Oncology Float Pool.

Essential Functions- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
- Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
Associate’s Degree Nursing required and Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and CredentialsRegistered Nurse [RN

Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required and Hospital or managed care experience 2-3 years preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing care for a broad range of patients with hematological and solid-tumor cancer diagnoses
- Providing patient and family education and support throughout their admission
- Administering treatments including:
Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Stem Cell Transplants, and CAR-T - Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
