Faulkner Tower - Somerville, MA , Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary, Schochet is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team at Faulkner Tower in Somerville, MA!
Faulkner Tower is a 130-unit elderly apartment community located in Somerville, MA.

About the PositionThe Property Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the community, including staff supervision, resident relations, financial management, compliance, and property operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and support all property staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct annual employee performance reviews.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, vendors, employees, and the surrounding community.
- Respond to and follow up on resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee rent calculations, rent collections, delinquency notices, and related legal actions when necessary.
- Manage subsidy collections and resolve collection-related issues.
- Oversee and/or assist with annual and interim resident recertifications.
- Ensure all recertifications are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Develop, manage, and adhere to the property's annual budget.
- Complete required annual inspections and monthly reports.
- Ensure the property operates efficiently while maintaining compliance with applicable housing regulations and company standards.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the property and residents.
- 3+ years of multifamily property management experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of Section 8.
- COS and ARM designation preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, and develop property management staff.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Previous Yardi experience is a plus.
