Research Associate II, Protein Sciences

Seeking a Research Associate II, Protein Sciences to support biologics discovery through recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization
. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality protein reagents, optimize laboratory workflows, and contribute to innovative therapeutic discovery programs in a fast-paced research environment.

• Perform recombinant antibody and protein expression using mammalian cell culture systems.
• Execute protein purification using AKTA/FPLC and chromatography methods, including affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography.
• Support high-throughput and large-scale protein production across multiple research programs.
• Conduct protein characterization using analytical techniques such as CE-SDS, SEC, and DSF.
• Collaborate with research, automation, and informatics teams to improve workflow efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize protein expression, purification, and analytical processes.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, sample tracking, and inventory records.

• BS or MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Protein Sciences, Chemical Biology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in protein sciences, biologics, or antibody discovery.
• Hands-on experience with recombinant protein expression, purification, and mammalian cell culture.
• Proficiency with AKTA/FPLC systems and chromatography-based purification methods.
• Familiarity with protein characterization techniques such as SDS-PAGE and SEC.
• Experience with high-throughput workflows and exposure to biophysical characterization methods is preferred.
