Retail Assistant Store Manager (Assembly Row)

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards.
• Ensure the store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through effective short‑ and long‑term planning, expense control, sales and service.
• Assist the store manager with recruitment, training, development and succession of high‑performing, results‑driven employees; hold team accountable through productivity conversations, coaching, recognition and performance reviews.
• Control payroll and create service‑driven scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while providing the highest levels of service to customers.
• Act as store manager when the store manager is away from the store for any reason.
• Ensure completion and effectiveness of training programs.
• Manage and monitor loss‑prevention education and awareness programs.
• Comply with all policies & procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment.
• Attend off‑site training and position‑related meetings as required; travel may be required.
• Work non‑traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.

• 2–4 years of management experience in a focused, customer‑service‑oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear).
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals and reason through complex issues.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to large groups.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Computer skills; basic knowledge of MS Office and retail software.
• Physical ability to walk constantly and move about; necessary use of speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception and field of vision; ability to lift, carry or push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

The base pay for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 + Bonus + Benefits.
