QL, and other modern technologies, helping organizations automate functional, performance, and security testing across the development lifecycle.
- Drive net new business growth and expansion opportunities for Ready
API. - Partner with development, QA and Dev Ops teams to modernize API testing and accelerate software delivery.
- Develop new business relationships through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and strategic account outreach.
- Drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts by increasing adoption of Ready
API across engineering, QA, and Dev Ops organizations. - Consult with customers on API testing strategies, automation initiatives, and digital transformation efforts to position Smart Bear solutions effectively.
- Manage a mix of transactional and enterprise sales opportunities within a defined territory.
- Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, managers, and executive decision makers.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to drive customer success and revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce and related sales tools.
- Receive ongoing enablement, coaching, and professional development to accelerate career growth and long‑term sales success.
- 1–3 years of software sales experience, preferably in technical organizations or developer‑focused environments.
- Experience carrying a quota and consistently achieving KPIs or revenue targets.
- Strong communication, discovery, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- A self‑starter mindset with strong accountability and time‑management skills.
- Interest in API technologies, software testing, Dev Ops, or developer tooling.
- Experience using sales tools such as Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Salesforce, Outreach, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation: Estimated annual cash compensation (base + on‑target commission) ranges from $120,000 to $120,000 USD. Actual compensation is determined by experience, skill set, internal equity, and geographic location.
