Are you ready to drive sales growth and make a real impact? As a Sales Administrator, you’ll be the spark that ignites new business opportunities for Flagship. Your mission is to connect with potential clients through phone, email, and social media, introducing them to our exceptional services and setting the stage for our sales team’s success. You will generate new service opportunities for multiple service divisions through outbound prospecting, market research, and relationship development.
This role is responsible for identifying facility maintenance or lab services needs, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling site visits or service evaluations with Flagship’s operations leaders.
- Outbound Outreach:
Initiate contact with prospects via cold calling, emailing, and social media to generate interest. Maintain assigned activity quota. - Lead
Qualification:
Identify potential customers, pinpoint key decision makers, and assess their needs to determine if they fit the company’s target profile. Identify those potential customers based on requirements from the divisions you are supporting. - Scheduling:
Coordinate meetings or consultations between prospects and our sales and operations managers. - Database Management:
Maintain accurate records of all conversations, appointments, and follow‑ups within the CRM software. - RFP and Bid Monitoring:
Daily monitoring of public and private sector RFP pages such as City/County Procurement portals or property management company bids to document where sales opportunities exist. - Follow‑Up:
Follow up with potential clients to confirm appointments, reschedule, or re‑engage cold leads.
- Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication, including active listening, building rapport, and explaining product benefits. - Resilience & Positivity:
Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a positive attitude to meet daily/weekly targets. - Organization:
Excellent time management to juggle multiple tasks, follow‑ups, and calendars. - Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and scheduling tools. - Experience:
Previous experience in customer service, telemarketing, or sales‑related roles is often preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Strong skills in Word, Outlook, and internet browsing. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. - Problem Solving:
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. At least 6 months professional experience in a communication role that involved speaking with business contacts over the telephone.
Common Performance Metrics- Number of calls/emails made daily.
- Number of appointments booked per week.
- Number of appointments that actually take place (held rate).
Small-to-large office environment. Fast paced work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
Physical DemandsThe employee is frequently required to use a computer keyboard; occasionally stand, walk, or sit; reach out with hands and arms; climb stairs; bend down or kneel; and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Other vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color clarity and discrimination, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
