Ethicon Associate Account Executive – Sales

The Ethicon Associate Account Executive will be responsible for expanding sales of Ethicon US, LLC products, converting competitive products in compliance with company policy and sales direction, supporting aligned area/region sales activities, and progressing toward an Account Executive role. The role requires training to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to healthcare providers in operating room settings, executing concise, professional, and ethical selling cycles and guiding customers to action.
Responsibilities- Expand sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products while adhering to company policy and sales direction.
- Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales‑related activities and compete for Account Executive role upon successful completion of duties.
- Undergo training to understand and demonstrate proper use of products to healthcare providers in operating room settings.
- Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, and ethical manner that leads customers to action.
- Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products.
- Manage customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology.
- Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in sales training courses.
- Assist surgeons through strategic product platforms in the operating room.
- Comply with standards for safe behavior, demonstrating product, procedure, and clinical knowledge. Conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0–2 years of business experience.
- Ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography as needed.
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Established business planning and forecasting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business.
- Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel.
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Excellence in process management and organizational agility.
- Documentation of successful sales performance.
- Ability to work in an operating room.
