As our company scales, we’re seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to drive customer base expansion and revenue growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will engage stakeholders, identify opportunities, and contribute to Laminar’s success.
What You Will Do- Lead Generation:
Research and identify potential clients or partners. Utilize various tools and platforms to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of opportunities. - Market Research:
Understand industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and refine the ideal customer profile. - Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain relationships with new clients. - Communication:
Present Laminar’s value proposition to prospects, qualify or disqualify prospects, and advance them to the next stage of the sales process. - Teamwork:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams. - Networking:
Attend industry events and build professional connections. - Sales Development:
Work with sales and technical teams to develop tailored proposals and pricing structures, and negotiate effectively with clients to secure contracts. - Sales Support and Administration:
Provide ongoing support to the sales team in managing client accounts, tracking sales activities, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. Assist in the development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or a similar role is beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to find innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, results‑driven, with ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot).
- Willingness to travel as needed.

$50,000 – $70,000 a year, base salary plus commission. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, transportation benefit, health and wellness benefit, employer‑matching 401(k), 12 company‑paid holidays, and more.
