We seek an energetic and motivated part-time lab operations technician. A successful candidate will have problem-solving skills, proven time management skills, and the ability to work independently. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Facility Laboratory Assistant will proactively complete regular maintenance and cleaning tasks, while ensuring compliance with laboratory rules and regulations.

• Conduct routine laboratory cleaning, including countertops, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and washing glassware
• Support daily operations of the lab, such as monitoring and replacing compressed gas cylinders and overseeing penthouse mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Manage the storage and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Coordinate and assist with vendor visits related to laboratory equipment and services
• Oversee shipping and receiving tasks
• Carry out general maintenance and handyman duties as needed to support facility operations

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Excellent English communication and time management skills
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting, including waste removal, is a plus
