Shift Options
  • 12‑hour shifts available on both days and overnights
  • Flexible start and end times based on operational needs and staff availability
  • Opportunities for additional shifts may be available

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team with strong tenure while maintaining the flexibility to balance other professional and personal commitments.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive and prioritize emergency and non‑emergency calls from hospitals, patients, and healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate ambulance and MIH services by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources.
  • Accurately relay critical information, including patient details, locations, and call nature.
  • Collaborate with and follow up with MIH team members to ensure continuity of care and proper communication.
  • Input, track, and update mobile healthcare call data in real time.
  • Monitor response times and follow up on exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs and prepare reports for review.
  • Serve as a liaison between facilities, providers, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications/diplomas preferred.
  • Experience:

1–2 years in emergency dispatching, EMS, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to multi‑task and stay calm under pressure; proficiency with dispatch software, GPS, and communication tools; sound problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.

Additional Job Details (if applicable)

This is a great opportunity to work in a unique dual‑role dispatch environment, gain experience in both ambulance and MIH operations, and be part of a supportive workplace where staff tenure is high. Whether working daytime or overnight shifts, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work while remaining connected to a team that values collaboration, reliability, and service to the community.

With flexible scheduling and per diem commitment requirements, this role offers the perfect balance of meaningful work and schedule flexibility.
