We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatcher to support both ambulance and Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) dispatch operations. The position is per diem, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Per diem with a minimum commitment of one (1) 12‑hour shift per month.

• 12‑hour shifts available on both days and overnights
• Flexible start and end times based on operational needs and staff availability
• Opportunities for additional shifts may be available

• Receive and prioritize emergency and non‑emergency calls from hospitals, patients, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate ambulance and MIH services by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources.
• Accurately relay critical information, including patient details, locations, and call nature.
• Collaborate with and follow up with MIH team members to ensure continuity of care and proper communication.
• Input, track, and update mobile healthcare call data in real time.
• Monitor response times and follow up on exceptions.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and prepare reports for review.
• Serve as a liaison between facilities, providers, and the healthcare team.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or diplomas preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in emergency dispatching, EMS, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multi‑task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS, and communication tools.
  • Sound problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
