Job Overview
Triumvirate Environmental, one of North America's largest environmental services firms, is hiring a Class B CDL Driver for its Transportation team. The driver will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This onsite position is based in Somerville, MA and reports to the Regional Logistical Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24’ box trucks, in compliance with all regulations
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, ensuring safe operating condition
- Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status following DOT regulations
- Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
- Properly secure load to ensure safe and compliant transportation of materials
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable personal transportation and ability to lift 60 pounds regularly
- Willingness to consent to motor vehicle record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, drug screening (including THC), random drug screening program
- Willingness to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday) and ability to work overtime regularly
- Experience handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste; role considered safety‑sensitive
- Eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Previous experience in environmental services or a related field

Range: $28–$34 USD per hour
