TEKsystems is hiring a Project Coordinator for a client in the Somerville, NJ area.
This is a permanent hire opportunity offering an on‑site schedule to start. It is a rapidly growing company with vast opportunity for advancement.
Qualifications- 2+ years’ experience in project coordination (furniture, interiors, construction, engineering)
- MS Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar Management)
- Ability to read a floor plan
- Ability to understand industry lingo
The Project Coordinator works closely with sales, design, and in‑house operations teams, as well as vendors and installation partners, to ensure projects are executed efficiently and successfully.
Responsibilities- Manage order entry and accuracy of all project documentation
- Coordinate schedules with vendors, manufacturers, and installers to ensure on‑time project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring seamless communication throughout each phase of the project
- Support the sales and design teams by tracking project milestones, preparing submittals, and maintaining project files
- Oversee logistics including product lead times, delivery coordination, and installation timelines
- Troubleshoot project punch list items, identifying solutions to keep schedules and budgets on track
- Ensure quality standards are met and client satisfaction is prioritized at every stage
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Pay & BenefitsAnnual Salary: $85,000
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and PTO accrual.
