Description

Key Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements. Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for sitework, excavation, grading, utilities, paving, and related civil construction scopes. Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. Develop accurate project estimates, budgets, and bid proposals. Analyze project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as required.

Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and company leadership during the bidding process. Maintain current pricing databases and historical cost information. Assist with contract review and project handoff following award. Track bid results and market trends to improve estimating accuracy.
