Summary
:
Ellie’s Academy seeks a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The teacher will work alongside other educators to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 30 months. The primary responsibility is to support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants aged 6 weeks to 30 months.
- Ensure infants’ safety, hygiene, and well‑being at all times.
- Create a comfortable and stimulating environment that promotes growth and development.
- Develop and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and activities to support early development.
- Plan and organize daily routines, including feeding, napping, and playtime, to encourage growth and learning.
- Conduct regular assessments to track infants’ progress and tailor activities to their unique needs and milestones.
- Communicate developmental milestones and concerns to parents and guardians.
- Establish strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians, maintaining open and transparent communication.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the infant classroom, including proper sanitation of toys and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements- Previous experience working with children and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to provide emotional support to infants and their families.
- Ability to lift and carry infants, stand for extended periods, and engage in physical activities.
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare center.
- Knowledge of early childhood approaches.
