Mental Health Unit

Full‑Time, Day shift, 40 hours per week.

$20.81 - $21.07 per hour (New Jersey)

• Conduct q15 patient safety checks, environmental safety rounds, 1:1 patient safety watch.
• Assist with group facilitation and the search and logging of patient belongings.
• Under direct supervision of the unit director or designee, assist with providing direct patient care, reinforcing Safety Together core values and implementing safety initiatives.
• Participate as a member of the Workplace Violence committee.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS required through American Heart Association.

• 1 year experience working in similar roles in acute care Behavioral Health Unit, willing to train the right candidate.
• Mental Health First Certificate training preferred or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• AHA BLS.

• 40 hours a week – Day shift.
