Physical Therapist (Per Diem-Day) – Bridgewater, NJ | RWJBarnabas Health Somerset Facility – Day Shift – Hourly – $66.23/hr

RWJBarnabas Health’s Sports Physical Therapy and Performance Center is a freestanding outpatient clinic that delivers patient‑centered care with a focus on one‑to‑one manual therapy and ample treatment time for each patient.

• Examines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitioner.
• Plans and implements specific treatment to reverse impairments, restore function, and facilitate the development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living.
• Participates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programs.
• Assesses and treats patients while documenting progress, patient education, and therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintains accurate and timely patient charts in accordance with institutional policies and state regulations.
• Provides direct patient care, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Participates in clinical education and mentorship of junior staff and students.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy at the Bachelor's or Master's level.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

• Active membership in a professional organization.
• Experience in sports or performance‑specific physical therapy.

• Board certification in Physical Therapy (preferred).
• Valid NJ Physical Therapy License.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills are required for intra‑disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication.
