Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – New Jersey

Start Date: March 10, 2026
Location: Somerville, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 13-week assignment; on-call includes one 8.5-hour shift per week and one 24-hour weekend shift every 5 weeks

Highlights:

• Full spectrum of MRI studies across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Approximately 15 patient visits per day across two scanners in a hospital environment
• GE equipment preferred (GE 450W, GE Signa Excite)
• EPIC charting system utilized for documentation
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No cardiac MRI performed on site

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact state license required at time of submission
• ARRT (MR) and ARRT (R) preferred, or ARMRIT with proof of sitting for ARRT exam
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care MRI experience required; candidates with GE experience may qualify with 1.5 years
• Documented hospital experience is required
• Previous charge experience and trauma level experience preferred
• Must be competent in imaging all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
