Talent Manager, Employee Relations, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Human Resources Administrator plays a key role in supporting the daily human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for administering HR processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of standard HR practices, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities- Manage the HR inbox and respond to general employee inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Process new hire entries into the payroll system, including verification and uploading of I-9 and E-Verify documentation
- Complete employment verifications and generate experience letters as requested
- Update and maintain the company’s organizational chart (Pingboard) to reflect personnel and structural changes
- Track and maintain Employment Authorization (EAD) records, sending reminders for upcoming expirations
- Complete Form I-983 for consultant immigration support and documentation
- Respond to and manage unemployment inquiries and claims
- Assist in tracking Paid Sick Leave balances and implementing state-mandated updates
- Coordinate internal promotions and compensation changes in accordance with company policies and guidelines
- Provide support for benefits-related inquiries and assist with the annual benefits open enrollment process
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be able to report to our Somerville, NJ office 3x a week. (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent HR-related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite), including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including functions and data organization.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Solid understanding of standard HR practices
- Excellent organizational skills

- Familiarity with benefits-related processes
