Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAP security and S/4

HANA/Fiori to design roles, ensure compliance, and support audits while maintaining secure user access and authorization controls.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $63/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, create, and maintain SAP roles (Master, Derived, and Composite) ensuring secure and optimized access management.
• Manage user authorizations and update SU24 settings to control access and minimize security risks.
• Implement and support SAP S/4
  
  HANA and Fiori security, including catalogs, roles, and OData services.
• Conduct user access reviews, ensure SOX compliance, and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Handle user lifecycle management, troubleshoot authorization issues, and provide production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during implementation, upgrades, cutover, and post-go-live activities while maintaining documentation and security standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 8-10 years of experience in SAP Security & Authorization, including S/4
  
  HANA and Fiori environments.
• Strong expertise in SAP role design, authorization management (SU24), and HANA database security with hands-on implementation and support experience.
• Proven experience in SOX compliance, SOD risk analysis, and audit support, with the ability to manage user lifecycle and security governance processes.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $63.00 per hour
