Location: Somerville, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Work Model: Hybrid Monday–Thursday Remote | Friday Onsite in Somerville, NJ

Classification: Exempt

Compensation: $60,000 base + performance incentives

Position Overview

Night Operations Manager responsible for overseeing nightly cleaning operations across multiple facilities. This leadership role ensures quality inspections, team supervision, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The position operates in a hybrid model, with administrative responsibilities performed remotely Monday–Thursday and onsite presence required Fridays in Somerville, NJ. Regular travel to client sites is expected.

Compensation Structure
  • Base Salary: $60,000 annually
  • Incentives:
    • $100 per qualified appointment
    • $250 per closed deal

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nightly quality inspections at facilities
  • Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate night cleaning staff
  • Provide coaching, accountability, and performance oversight
  • Maintain time and attendance records
  • Manage supply inventory, including loading/unloading materials
  • Cover night shift positions as needed
  • Support client relationship management and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure a safe, compliant work environment
  • Complete administrative reporting and documentation
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technology savvy – position requires working across multiple platforms
  • Relevant facilities, janitorial, or operations experience
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Previous personnel management or supervisory experience
  • Experience overseeing multi-site cleaning operations
  • Ability to contribute to client development and growth initiatives
