Work schedule
: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
The 2nd Shift Packaging Associate is responsible for assembling, filling, and preparing component kits within a highly regulated production environment. This role balances manual line setup and component assembly with meticulous visual inspection and material reconciliation. Operating under strict quality standards, the position requires the ability to work comfortably in an aseptic environment while wearing specialized personal protective equipment.
Job SpecificationsKey Responsibilities
Line Setup & Assembly
:
Assemble manufacturing totes, product cartons, platforms, and related structural packaging or filling components. Assist area supervision with setting up packaging/filling lines and staging raw materials for active production runs.Visual Quality Inspection
:
Perform detailed visual inspections to identify visible defects in components produced in the Filling Area as well as items being organized into final kits in the Packaging Area.Kitting & Component Placement
:
Place filled vials, informational inserts, barcode clips, and other essential items into production totes or localized kits according to explicit instructions in applicable SOPs and Production Records.Material Reconciliation
:
Count and reconcile manufacturing intermediates, product labels, and literature inserts at the formal conclusion of each filling and packaging operation.Palletization & Warehousing
:
Safely palletize finished goods and assist the team in transferring production materials from the active lines into designated refrigerated units and general warehouse storage areas.Regulatory Compliance
:
Maintain a foundational understanding of cGMP, QSR, ISO, and RMS Quality regulations to ensure all daily line operations are executed in total alignment with those requirements.

Aseptic Environment Adaptability

Absolute capability to perform duties efficiently within a controlled aseptic environment.PPE Compliance

Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment daily, including safety eyewear, protective footwear, lab coats, masks, and full gowning coveralls.Basic Literacy & Precision
:
Ability to read, understand, and precisely replicate workflow steps from standard operating procedures (SOPs) and physical logs.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
While this is an entry-level position, any prior experience working within a manufacturing, filling, labeling, or warehouse environment is helpful.
Education & Experience
Experience
: 0–2 years of experience operating in an operations, production, filling, or distribution warehouse environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).Education

High School Diploma or GED is required.
