Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
OverviewBuild, manage, cultivate and solicit a prospect portfolio of approximately 100-125 active major gift prospects with giving capacities which up to and including $5 Million.
This includes the proactive identification of new prospects to expand and further diversify the Foundation's donor base and Board profile.
Provide dynamic day-to-day leadership and direction for the Foundation’s individual fundraising program including, but not limited to, campaign efforts, individual solicitations, annual giving, planned giving and fundraising events.
This includes management of health system fundraising initiatives and staff on and off-site.
Responsible to hire, develop and evaluate fundraising staff consistent with organizational and strategic goals.
Provide direction and support for the Senior Vice President’s fund‑raising activities which include strategic planning solicitation forecasts, briefings, and follow up support.
Facilitate internal communication to effectively position the Foundation with all critical stakeholders in capital and program resource development efforts.
Education- Bachelors' degree, with an MBA or an advanced degree in fundraising/nonprofit management or a related field preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of successful fundraising experience including proven success in gift closure at the five–and six-figure level.
- A track record of increasing and diversifying philanthropic support from both defined and non‑defined constituencies; creative, energetic approach to fundraising and constituent engagement; stature, professional confidence, and proven ability to engage, motivate, and develop productive relationships with diverse leaders and volunteers, including doctors, clinical and non‑clinical staff, and other internal and external constituencies; excellent communication, writing, and listening skills, as well as intellectual curiosity and dexterity.
